Big Mountain Riding is a state of mind. It is more about how you ride than it is about what you ride or where you ride. Big Mountain Riding features epic challenges, whether of distance or of technical trails.  Big mountain riders ride up to ride down. They get where they want to go under their own power. Those who try to ride it all on their trail bikes, single-speeds and freeride machines are welcome to learn more about our passion on this website.

"Dig" King

"Dig" King

Doug King lives in eastern Washington, near Spokane. He rides for a living as part of his job as a park ranger. When he rides for recreation, he likes airing it out, whether or not the bike he’s on has the suspension for the task or not :-) . He raced on his collegiate cross-country team, and has raced in Washington, Oregon, Minnesota and Wisconsin. Doug has made the pilgrimage to Moab three times, and has launched Porcupine Rim’s Diving Board.
